2009 Its a Wrap!

Jeez! 2009 has come and gone already and was action packed full of racing, training and a bunch of camps/clinics. I ended the NBL Elite series in the #5 spot and "knocking on the door" for that #4. I'm pretty pumped on how the season went. I landed on the podium a bunch of times, got some good coverage on the Versus network and met/instructed TONS of super cool riders from all over the country during my "Pull Camps". Outside of BMX I was a part of a couple independent films and a few national commercials.....gotta have balance in your life. My sincerest thanks go out to all of the people who make it possible for me to continue "burning rubber" for a living...HUGE thanks to Dusty at Dan's Comp and all Dan's team mates-Scott Moreland, Weston Pope, Justin Posey and Aldon Volle. CellySmellys.com, Patrick and Marie at Bawls Guarana, Rob at Maxxis, Chad and Leo at Shimano, Jeff at JWBMX, Mike Hammond at DiamondBack, JD at Mar, Pete D at vsi, Ryan Birk at Answer, Kiyomi at Oakley, SAB, Jason at Leatt, Justin at Bell and Alienation. Last but certainly not least, the big guy "upstairs", my family, my amazing wife Jessica, German Median, Maximus and all of the riders who give me a hi-5 at the races.

For now, it's time to enjoy training and getting ready for the 2010 season here in sunny California. Jessica and I have made the move to Santa Monica for a few months...no more 10 degree sprint sessions and no more hours on the "tri cylinder torcher machine" (rollers). I feel like I am solar powered out here and feel recharged and refreshed. I'm looking forward to a great 2010.

Also, I want to send out thoughts and prayers to K-Dubs family. We miss you K-Dub and we'll see you on the other side, big guy.
